In Mouse, players take on the role of tiny mice navigating through a cheese-filled maze. Each player selects a colored pawn representing their mouse. On each turn, a player rolls two dice: one for movement and another for actions. Movement dice determine how many spaces a mouse can move within the maze, aiming to collect as much cheese as possible. Action dice offer choices like moving an additional space, sniffing out hidden cheese, or using a special ability card. Special abilities vary but often provide advantages like dodging traps or moving faster. Cheese pieces scattered throughout the maze are collected by landing exactly on a space containing cheese. The game ends when all cheese is collected or after a set number of rounds. The player with the most cheese at the end wins, becoming the mightiest mouse in the maze.
